Daniel Sousa: first started playing football in High School. From there he would go on to West Valley Junior College and then to Mississippi College in 2013. It was there that he first stepped into the world of coaching. In 2014 he was a Student Assistant Coach for the Mississippi College football team. In 2015 he entered the world of High School football at Jackson Preparatory School helping the Junior High to an undefeated season and assisting the Varsity with their undefeated State Championship run. Coach Sousa would go on to spend the next 6 years coaching in the MSAIS with 4 of those years at the 8 man level. In 2021, Coach Sousa accepted the Head Football job at Tunica Academy. That season his offensive attack produced almost 5,000 yards of total offense while setting a school record for points in a game with 72. That same score tied the state record for most points in a game regardless of level or classification. In 2022, Coach Sousa accepted the Head Football job at Oasis Christian Academy in Florida. In his 2 years there, his teams have broken multiple school records and achieved back to back winning seasons, a program first in over 15 years. Coach Sousa has been a part of multiple playoff runs, district championships and 1 State Championship in his 10 years as a football coach.
